2021 Chapter Community Service - Urban Recipe
Join us for our annual community service project. Volunteers will help unload and sort food donations that will aid in the mission to fight against food insecurity across metro Atlanta. This is a warehouse setting, and volunteers will be moving and walking on concrete, so dress comfortably.

What to Bring, Tips and Hints for a Great Day
- Wear comfortable clothes (jeans, t-shirt) and sneakers. You will be moving and lifting donations on a concrete floor so you will want comfy, rubber soled shoes.
- Please wear layers as the warehouse fluctuates with the weather. This is a warehouse facility, exposed to outside elements at times, and the indoor temperature may fluctuate throughout the shift. You will be moving around a lot so you will warm up quickly.
- Please try to arrive on time as we will do a brief group volunteer orientation at the start of the shift and it helps to have all the volunteers together at one time to explain our process.
Be ready to have fun as we help others in the community!
